    Skyroam Solis Software Update FAQs

    Skyroam is committed to delivering the best connectivity experience to you! We are constantly reviewing feedbacks and adding new features to improve user experience.  

    When a new software update is available for your Skyroam Solis hotspot, we have made it easy and simple for you to receive the update. There are no actions needed on your end!

     

     Here is how the new Skyroam software updating process works:

    1. When your Skyroam Solis is ready for a tune-up, Skyroam will automatically deliver the software update to your hotspot.
    2. There is no action needed on your end!
    3. The next time you power on and power off your Skyroam Solis, the software update will perform automatically.
    4. Please allow the software update to be completed before powering on/off.

     

     How do I know when my Skyroam Solis is updating?

    When a software update is available for your Skyroam Solis hotspot, the following process will occur:

    1. You will notice a solid white circle light flashing on the top of WiFi button.
    2. The update will automatically be downloaded and installed. The process may take up to 5-minutes.
    3. When your Skyroam Solis is updating, do not power off or remove the batteries. This may affect your Skyroam Solis hotspot’s update and performance.
    4. Once the software update has been completed, your Skyroam Solis will automatically power off and be ready to use!

     

     How do I check what software version I have?

    You can check your software version on the Skyroam Solis App and/or on a.skyroam.com.

    On the Solis App, the version information can be found by:

    1. Power on your Skyroam Solis and pair to Solis App
    2. Login to the Solis App.
    3. Go to ‘Account’ tab.
    4. Click on ‘Hotspot Information’.
    5. View the field ‘Version’.
      • Latest software version is 9.1.3.9

     

    On a.skyroam.com, the version info can be found by:

    1. Power on your Skyroam Solis and connect to Solis WiFi.
    2. Open web browser and login to a.skyroam.com.
    3. Click on the ‘Status’ tab.
    4. On the upper left corner, click on the icon ‘i’
